Hassan II Mosque
Depart from the hotel for the brief drive to the Hassan II Mosque. The second-largest mosque in the Islamic world, this immense architectural masterpiece is supported by 78 granite, marble and onyx pillars, and features a retractable green-tiled roof and 210-foot-high (64-metre-high) minaret. Inside, see frescoes, painted and sculptured woods, stuccos of intricate designs, Arabesques in decorative drawings, and writings in brilliant colours.
Rabat and King’s Palace
Next, re-board your coach for the approximately 1.5-hour drive north to Rabat. Founded in the 12th century, Rabat is one of the four Imperial Cities of Morocco, and the Imperial Capital of the nation since 1912. Upon arrival, your tour begins with drive through the city’s parks and gardens along Victory Avenue en route to the Mechouar Precinct of the King’s Palace.
Mohammed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower
After an exterior visit at the King’s Palace, proceed to the Mohamed V Mausoleum, which is located on the south side of the Great Mosque and is guarded by the mounted Royal Household Guard, the last resting-places of the King Mohammed V and his son. A visit is then made to the minaret of the Great Mosque, also known as the ‘Hassan Tower’. Built in the late-12th century, the 140-foot (44-metre) tower is ascended by ramps.
Kasbah of the Oudayas
Following a Moroccan lunch at a local restaurant (OPTIONAL), take a guided walking tour at the 12th-century Kasbah of the Oudayas. The alleyways of the Kasbah are reminiscent of a delightful Andalusian village, and offer splendid views overlooking the BouRegreg River. Your tour concludes with an approximately 1.5-hour drive back to Casablanca. Time permitting; some free time is made available for shopping in the souq or in the modern shops around the Mohammed V Square before to check in your hotel

Depart from the hotel for the brief drive to the bustling Central Market, a kaleidoscope of color, charm, street musicians, fresh fish, freshly-cut flowers, fruit, and spices. From here, an inside visit is made at the 60-room Mahkma Court of Islamic Law before proceeding to the amazing and beautiful Hassan II Mosque.

A refreshment stop is then made at the Hyatt Regency Hotel before visiting the New Medina, or ‘Habous Quarter’. During a stroll through this historic part of the city, see picturesque alleys lined with souks and shops, and pass by the King’s Palace. After re-boarding your coach, drive through the elegant residential district of Anfa, the original site of Casablanca.
Mohammed V Square
Your tour concludes with a photo stop at Mohammed V Square. Upon arrival, see Moslem-styled buildings, a monumental fountain, a public garden and a statue of Marshal Lyautey. Time permitting; a stop is made here for shopping before re-boarding your coach for the return drive to the hotel.

Majorelle Gardens
Depart from the hotel in Casablanca for the approximately three-hour drive southeast to Marrakesh. Upon arrival, a stop is made at the tranquil Majorelle Gardens. Situated in the foreground of the High Atlas Mountains, the Majorelle Gardens feature lovely blue pavilions, along with lush greenery, palm trees, cacti, still pools, and shady nooks.
Dar el Bahia Palace and Koutoubia Mosque
A visit is then made to the 19th–century Dar el Bahia Palace, which is highlighted by beautifully-decorated rooms with mosaics and ceiling decorations, small gardens, fountains and courtyards. Next, a photo stop is made at the Koutoubia Mosque. The tallest mosque in the city, Koutoubia was built in the late-12th century and features a famous, approximately 252-foot-high (about 77-metre-high) minaret.
Souks of Medina and Djmâa el Fna Square
After lunch at a Moroccan restaurant, take a guided stroll through the colorful and varied souqs of the 12th-century medina before proceeding to the famous Djmâa el Fna Square, home to musicians, acrobats, snake-charmers, food stalls, and storytellers. Some free time is made available here to browse the covered souqs for handicrafts, beautiful carpets, polished wood art, perfumes, and spices.
Following your visit, re-board the vehicle for the approximately three-hour return drive to the hotel

Fascinating Fes

Explore the historic landmarks and architecture of one of the most scenic cities in Morocco during this full-day excursion to Fes.
Depart from the hotel in Casablanca for the approximately four-hour drive north to the Imperial City of Fes–el-Bali via the coastal town of Al-Muhammadiyah, the Imperial City of Rabat, Khemisset and Meknes.
Fes City Tour
Upon arrival, explore the Jewish Quarter, or ‘Mellah’, the karaouine, medina and souks, famous tanneries, exquisite mosques and medersas, and the famous Fes Pottery Kilns. A brief stop is then made at the Méchouar of the impressive King’s Palace, or ‘Dar el Makhzen’, to admire the seven magnificent bronze gates before continuing on to the BorjSud for a panoramic view of the medina.
Fes Medina
Next, take a walking tour through the labyrinths of the ancient Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the highlights to be seen are the colorful es-Sabbaghine with its ‘Street of the Dyers’, the impressive el-Quarawiyyin Mosque, the Souk el-Attarine, the el-AttarineMedersa, a school of Koranic learning, the Kissaria and Draz Quarters, the tanneries, and the University, where a brief photo stop is made.
Lunch and Museum of Moroccan Art
A stop is then made at El-Nejjarine Square to see the delightful plaza, fountain, caravanserai and artistry before proceeding for lunch at a Moroccan restaurant in the medina. After lunch, continue on to the Dar Batha for a visit to the Museum of Moroccan Art before rejoining your vehicle at the Bab Boujloud.
Potters’ Quarter
Leaving the medina, drive to the 16th-century Potters’ Quarter, or ‘Fakhkharin’, located near the present-day Bab Ftouh in an area called Guerouaoua. Upon arrival, observe the artisans at work and browse their unique clay ware for sale.
Scenic Drive
Your tour concludes with a drive around the magnificent ramparts with their Babs, then up to the 16th-century Saadien Watchtower at the North Borj Museum for a final look at this ‘City of 1001 Nights’ before commencing the approximately four-hour return drive to Casablanca.
